Do you ever feel like your hair stylist gets too happy with the scirrors when it comes to getting a trim?

Like you go and ask for a trim and end up with a bob? I know that sometimes there are a lot of split ends but my gosh I didn't ask for a ';hair cut';

i feel the exact same way. i figured out that if you want like 2 inches off, say that you want like 1 because in the end they will always go a little over board:)


the funny thing is that we usually just watch them do it, and let it happen but i mean they are the pro, what do we know...we should maybe speak up:D
i understand completely how u feel. my hair used to be shoulder length and my hair stylist was all excited and telling me that my hair is getting really long and then she ';trims'; it back to right under my ear when i didnt even ask her to!
OMG I ask for two inches off [my hair was to my ribs] and my stupid hairdresser cuts it above my shoulders! And graduation was that week! It was horrible. That's when I changed hairdressers. The one that I have now is better, though.
YES! I asked just to get the tips off, my hair was below my boob.


It ended up being a few inches below my shoulder.





Thats why i dont really like going to the hair dressers.

OMG Yesterday I went in and asked for half a inch of and I ended up with a foot off!!!! EEEKK





And It was really bad! Half my hair is longer, the other half is short!!
omg ik! i just wanted to get my layers trimmed but my stylist chopped em right off and my hair looked horible. i was really mad ):

but then again, if u ask for a cm, it should be A CM!

Yeah, but now my hair is sooo fricken short i won't let anyone touch it!!
