How much $ is appropriate when tipping a hair stylist?

Always go with 20% or higher. 10 was to little they will think they did a bad job when you tip them so little. And the next time if they won't put so much effort into your hair. No matter where your going 20% is always appriciated and what you should tip.
When I get my hair cut, I usually tip 20$ no matter how much the cut cost unless it cost less than 60$, then I tip 10$ or 15$.
