what do i tell the barber? However, he is accustomed to cutting and shaping traditional hair, none that is popular today. where should i go and how should i tell them what to do?What do i tell the hair stylist to make my hair scene/emo? im a boy?
Just find a picture that has the kind of hairstyle you want and show it to him.

Don't do what alot of people do and sit down and tell him you just want an emo cut. It happens alot. :) The point of an emo/scene cut is to look different then anyone else, and he cant read minds.





Google pictures, print them, take them. Go into alot of detail about what you want, in terms of length, texture, etc. Use your hands to show length, and push your hair around to show him the directions you want it to go





Tell him you want alot of texture and tell him to be creative, it may not be that bad.
I would suggest going to a more stylish salon like Tony %26amp; Guy for example as they would do it better. Barbers wouldn't be able to do it as well, as they stick to traditional cuts. Take a picture with you of what you want it to look like and if it goes wrong, u can just cut it short and grow it back :)
