For hair stylists! What do you tell a stylist if you have really curly hair?

my boyfriend has really curly hair and its kind of long, and he's getting it cut short. what would you tell a hair stylist to do with it, if you didn't want them to completely butcher it by just telling them ';I want it shorter';? any thoughts hair stylists?For hair stylists! Close at the nape and around the ears, tapering longer up the sides to the crown, maybe 4'; long, depending on how much length he loses from wet to dry and how much you want on top to run your fingers through. :)





Use moisturizing pomade or sculpting lotion to keep it from becoming a big POOF on top ala Cosmo Kramer.
