I move around a lot, and I am always getting bad haircuts. Is there a site that lets people know where to find the best stylist when they are new to a city? Also, it would be good to know where not to go.Looking for a website that recommends hair stylist?
There isn't any site like that that I know of. The best thing to do is when you you move, look around at people and see who's hair you really like and ask which hairdresser they go to. If you have straight hair, don't approach/ask someone with curly hair. Ask someone that has the same hair type as you do. Word of mouth is the best advertising. Don't be afraid to ';interview'; your new hairstylist... how long have they been doing hair? Do they get continuing education? If you don't feel comfortable talking with them, or they don't seem to want to listen to you on what you would like and offer you suggestions, they are NOT the stylist for you.
