I spent $119 today, and gave a $14 dollar tip.How much are you supposed to tip your hair stylist?
For a hairstylist, the appropriate tip would be 10-20%, depending on the job they did, how you like it, etc. The only exception is when your stylist is also the OWNER of the salon; then you don't leave a tip.How much are you supposed to tip your hair stylist?
Women are weird. If the people working in a beauty parlor or barber shop want more money then let them change their prices. You pay $119 to a person and then feel like you need to give them a tip? They should be groveling on their knees with thank yous instead.
The appropriate tip would be 20%,depending on if you liked it or not.And especially if you've been going to the same person for awhile. I always tip my hair dresser $12.00-$15.00 and mine only cost $45.00,but she only washes, trims and styles.
That's fair.....I do about 10%-15% tips. If I've been going to the stylist for awhile....6 months or more, I definitely give 15% or more. Remember, they are messing with a very important part of your image...and a little extra tip never hurts when favors or extra time is needed.
hooly all that on hair? lol i dunno just round the the nearest 10 and if thats not alot the next 5 or something, but 14 dollars is pretty good, i wouldnt mind it
GOOD ENOUGH
That's good enough. i usually give ten $$'s.
wow. . .is it 5 or 10 or 15% of the total? im not sure, but then its probably just like restuarants.
