Depends on where you will be doing hair. High end salons pay alot more, will you have your own clientele or will you be relying on the salon. I have seen tax returns for as much as 65k for a hair stylist, but this is a guy who people will wait a month to see. What is the average starting salery For a Hair Stylist?
It would depend on where you went to work. Some salons only pay a commission which could be 50/50 or 60/40 split with them taking the higher amount which covers expenses such as water, hydro, product and advertising. The amount of money you could potentially make here is dependant on how much you work. Some places do offer hourly figures but that too is dependant on the roll you play within the salon. The main thing with this career is that the more you specialize the more money you can make!
