I am trying to start a portfolio of my work...Anyone have any tips of thr trade to help me out????Any tips for a hair stylist trying to start her portfolio?
When you do a style, take ALOT of pictures. Before you take the pictures try to eliminate fly-aways / frizz with a little bit of hairspray. The hair spray isn't a permanent fix for the frizz but it will mask it temporarily. After you take several pictures at different angles of the style, pick your favorites and run them by a friend just for a second opinion. Make large prints to show detail. I've also seen girls type a brief description of the style before the photos.
