Is it a percentage? A flat dollar amount? How do you determine how much to give him/her?What is an appropriate tip for your hair stylist?
Depends on how good she is - and what she charges. I use to go to a woman who was really good but charged a very high rate to do my hair. I never tipped her. I go to one now who does a very good job - almost as good as the other - and charges less than half of what the other woman charges. I tip her generously - and I still save money.
I would say a % - just like any other 15% - or more if you are happy with her. I give mine about 25% plus I pass her books that I know she will enjoy. What is an appropriate tip for your hair stylist?
Depends on what you feel she deserves...
if you think she did a bad job, still give her a 2.00/tip atleast!
if she did a okay job 3.00 will be fine.
if you think she did an outstanding job give her like 5-10.00
I always tip anywhere from 4.00-10.00
I mean c'mon hairstylist make ALL there money in tips, if you dont tip them i find that rude.
Depends on if you like how they did your hair. I tip about 15% if I like how they did my hair. The more work they did, the more you should tip. If they are a student or giving you a good deal, then you should tip more.
Just like at a restaurant the usual amount is 15% if you can't calculate this in your head, most cell phones have an EZ tip calculator.
well when i get a hair cut it usually is about $65 so i give a $20 tip.
15 to 20 percent, depending on how much you like it.
well it depends how much it costs. usually 15%
i give mine about a 5$ tip.
